Often when I get calls from potential new clients they ask “how many?” and “how much?” Here’s I hope, a little insight into some answers. The answer to “how many” is that I am an artist and have never counted images taken or poses at a session. In addition, I am the artist to the entire family so that being said I feel responsible to create images with everyone…parents, siblings, grandparents, the family dog! I’d say that an average of around 150+ images are taken with me and usually it includes multiple outfit changes and sets…both natural lighting and studio makes for in my opinion a complete shoot. The answer to “how much” is very simple. How much do you want to spend? I just create the images and archive them for each family. Most will want retouched images of a few to hang as art for their home, some will want digital files to share. We offer all of that and a whole lot more. Edited images start at $49.00 and a finished mounted print with digital print release starts at $99.00. Some clients will want to developmentally document their family and their baby’s ages and stages and others will be happy to see me once a year. Our session packages are very popular because it allows you to get a few sessions on the calendar in prime spots and get your 4×6 cards annually for giving. Weekday sessions are $250.00 and weekend sessions are $300.
